I finished my first rag quilt this past weekend. And I gave it to my friend, who loved it. It was so easy. You really just cut squares of fabric, batting and flannel. Quilt them with an X. Sew them into rows. Sew the rows together. Clip all seams. Then wash and dry.I used a Moda AVIARY Layer Cake (plus a bit of extra Aviary fabric, as I wanted to make the quilt longer), pink flannel for the back, and batting.
