Holly Taylor says, "Growing up in Minnesota meant family trips to the northern part of the state. Every summer there was a new lodge to visit. Our Dad would take us out during the day to try and capture sight of a moose, bear or deer. Our favorite place was the dump where you were sure to spot a bear in the early morning. Those fond memories were the inspiration for this group of woodsy nature prints and batiks. I plan on a quilt using both of the panels to remember those carefree, exciting times spent in all the splendor that nature offers."

Living in Michigan, I can relate to the wanting to hibernate during the winter!  Those bears sure know how to live.  Pack on some additional weight and sleep the cold away.  Now I might like to join in that kind of fun.  How about you?  If if is cold where you live in the winter what do you like to do to pass the time?  Are you making lots of gorgeous quilts and eating comfort foods?  Sounds like heaven to me!!  Just look at this little guy.  I think he has the right idea.  Favorite food and lots of zzzzz's.

BRRRRR... Try to stay warm under lots of quilts this winter.  Stock up on your favorite fabrics for the winter!!  Maybe some of the summer ones to keep thinking warm!
