It's so hot outside today.
It's 101 here in Detroit, MI.
And they say it feels like 114!!

  1. Here in south Texas it is 99 with a heat index of 101. It's been hovering around here since the middle of June! Our humidity is only 31%.

  5. Cori.......just went to weather.yahoo.com and Canton Michigan zip 48188 is 102....and feels like 116.....'Ready Set Snow' makes me feel a wee tad cooler....great giveaway!! I like Trudi's temp, it's about 66 F....keep cool and please don't include me in the draw.

  7. Today in NJ it was 95, tomorrow is supposed to break 100 and they're saying it will feel like 110... the humidity is the worst part! makes the air so heavy its hard to breathe!!

  8. how hot is where I live!!!??? LOL, I'm wearing long sleeves, and a cardigan (but I can wear sandals). Lots of clouds and some light drizzle... Irish weather, world famous... you ask my 2 year old what colour is the sky and what's her answer? white! not hot enough, I wish I was in Detroit for a couple of days. thanks for the chance!

  9. It's actually cooler here in Brock, TX (North, TX) today, it's only 103. Its been between 101 & 108 for several weeks now. Not that we're used to that heat, but we're probably more used to it than y'all are. Yuck! We need to go visit Trudi in the UK! Thanks for sharing!

  10. It is wonderfully overcast and cool here today! I'm the only one in north Idaho that loves it though. Probably hit 68 degrees. sorry :S

  11. We've only had a couple "hot" days here yet. It was well into June before we had decent weather. When I see the weather reports today I hope everyone has a cool place to do to!

  12. According to weather.com in Boonsboro, Md, at 7:07PM it's still a whopping 98 degrees F and it feels like 103! What's a few more degrees eh? Whew!

  15. I'm in Kentucky and it's mid to upper 90s and VERY humid. Best to stay in the air-conditioned sewing room! My husband flew from Houston to Detroit today and he thinks Detroit feels hotter. Of course, getting in a car that's been parked at the airport probably doesn't help.

  19. Here in Sth Australia (Berri to be exact) it's a chilly 30.2 - 35.6 BRRRRRRRRR so I'd happily swap some of your heat for some of our cool....why it can't be around 77'f all year round I don't know! Hugs Naomi

    It's 8:31 PM and 94 degrees - feels like 99. Sure wish it would rain before everything turns to straw in our yard. We wait all the long winter for summer so we can open windows and be outside and now it's too hot! Windows are shut, drapes are drawn and the A/C and dehumidifier are working overtime.   29. I live in Rhinelander, Wisconsin where it has been HOT for the last week - 85-95. My sister from Oklahoma came today to visit & "cool off" as it has been over 100 there every day for over 60 days!!! and no rain either. YIKES! Thanks for the chance to will some COOL fabric!

  31. Iowa has been HOT! HOT! HOT!. We have had days of 95 degrees with heat indexes reaching 115 to 120. Hoping for a cool down so I can get in the garden and pick the green beans. Everybody stay cool. Thanks for the giveaway.

  32. I live in Georgia and it has been very HOT here for quite a while. We have been staying in the high 90's and low 100's. We didn't even have a spring this year. I'm sure that the fabric would help me to cool down, since I would stay inside and quilt. :) Thanks for the giveaway.

  40. Up here in Northern Ontario it is averaging 30 degrees before the humidity which makes it feel like 40!! I am OK with hot but not so much with off the charts humidity readings! Christmas fabrics look very cool right now!

  45. I really feel for you. I once went to Zion Canyon and there were app. 112 F. I think that was terrible. You better come to Norway. Today it is 14 degrees C, that means app. 57 F. And it's mid summer??? May be not much better, but.... I would love to win these georgous fabric bundles. Have a nice weekend.

  56. It is only 91 here, index of 100. This is the summer heat I remember growing up with. It has just been more mild the last several years I think. Gets everyone unaccustomed to it being so hot!!

  60. Right now in Oklahoma we are having a cool wave as we are only 105. Last week we broke 112 but we had a couple of cold day where we only got 99. Thankfully I chose this summer to have knee surgery and I'm confined to the house. Perfect timing on my part best summer ever to stay inside for 6 weeks.

  71. It's super hot in Austin, Texas. Forecast says 100-103 all week. The only time it cools down is around midnight. Love your shop. ...hoping for cooler weather.

  78. It seems as though HOT is the theme almost year-round (sometimes!) here in Atlanta (sometimes jokingly referred to as "Hot-Lanta"). It's been in the mid to high 90's here, but we've got rain coming in, so the temperature is going to drop to the low to mid 90's. Yeah.....much better.
