Hullabaloo Jelly Roll Project and Give Away

Hi,
I thought you might like to see what you can do with a Jelly Roll.
We've made 2 small quilts with one Hullabaloo Jelly Roll and some extra fabric.

This first quilt was made using the quilt as you go method.
We used 20 of the Jelly Roll Strips for the quilt.
It is about 32" x 40".

Here's the directions for this quilt.

Materials needed:
Sixty four 2 ½” x 4 ½” pieces of fabric (I cut from Jelly Roll strips)
1 yard fabric for quilt center
¼ yard fabric for inner border
½ yard fabric for binding
1 ¼ yard fabric for backing

Directions:
From fabric for quilt center, cut one 26 ½” x 26 ½” square.
From fabric for inner border, cut four 1 ½” strips.

Cut two of the strips to 26 ½ inches.
Sew to the top and bottom of the quilt center.

Cut the other two strips to 28 ½”.
Sew to the sides of the quilt center.

Sew 14 of the 2 ½” x 4 ½” rectangles together.
Repeat with 14 more rectangles.
Sew one of these strips to the top of the quilt.
Sew the other strip to the bottom of the quilt.

Sew 18 of the 2 ½” x 4 ½” rectangles together.
Repeat with the remaining 18 rectangles.
Sew one of these strips to each side of the quilt.

From fabric for binding, cut four 2 ½” strips.
Sew the four strips together, to create your binding.
Quilt as desired and bind.

Makes a 37” x 37” quilt.
We are giving away a Hullabaloo Jelly Roll.
Please leave a comment & I will draw a winner Monday, June 13, 5 PM EST.

Congratulations momma.
You are the winner of the Hullabaloo Jelly Roll.
I have contacted you through email.

She commented. "A Hullabaloo in our house was a din or racket, too much noise anyhow. I.e. Who's that making all the hullabaloo? "

Thank you to everyone who left a comment.
And a big thank you to Stash Manicure for hosting the give away.
Happy quilting,
